OhFatherOhKing (ThouArtBlackerThanTheBlackestEverBlack)

In light of the recent ascent of European Neo-Nazism and the Paris terror attacks, this piece explores the ecstatic nature of intimidation through a 20th century scrying glass reflecting intimate and terrifying visions of political, religious, social and cultural tyranny relentlessly visited upon the fundamentally anarchic experience of being itself.

Abstraction#1

(For Maria Chavez)

A brief electroacoustic interlude of conceptual turntablism

Love Me

(Dedicated to Elvis Aaron Presley)

A butoh-inspired duet exploring themes of obsession, lust, loneliness and guilt based ostensibly upon the relationship between mid-20th century rock and roll stars and their fans, this piece seeks to question the spiritual crisis that critic Greil Marcus puts forward as being a fundamental element of the Elvis phenomenon…the still-birth of his twin brother Jesse.
